Meet Daundra Becker
I’m The Story Magician, and I help people use the power of storytelling to create the life and business that they want. I do this in two ways:
- Through story-driven copy and content writing support for business owners. I help capture my clients’ stories to create effective copy and content that helps them reach their goals.
- I also offer coaching to help people rewrite destructive stories working against them in their business and life. I help people create lasting change from the inside out.
When I joined The Confident Expert Program I had no clue what I was doing! I was an overworked freelance writer, and I thought I was doing pretty good. But when I broke down how many hours I put into my business and how much I charged I realized I was not making anywhere close to what I wanted to make. I was on my computer writing from the time I woke up to the time I went to sleep, and in a year-long period I had maybe one or two full weekends “off.”
I was stuck in an employee mindset, and I was so miserable in my business before the program.
I needed some help, so when Shannon reached out to me about the program, I knew that I had found something to help me get to where I wanted to be in my business and do it in a way that worked for me and my family.
After investing in the program for round one, I quickly realized that the foundation I’d built my business on was completely out of whack. I burned it all down and spent that first round really creating a solid foundation that worked for me, felt really good, and was sustainable.
When it came time for me to graduate out, I was so much happier in my business, but I still had just a skeleton of a business. I felt like I needed the support of the community and the content in the Program to really flesh things out and keep my momentum going.
The Program has been such a game changer for me. My business fills me with so much joy, and I don’t have to go hunt down clients anymore. Since I’ve gotten really clear on what kind of business I’m creating and what works for me, and I’ve done the work in my marketing so my marketing works for me, clients and referrals come to me.
If you are thinking about joining the program, I think that deep down you know what your answer is. If you want to take that leap for yourself and your business it’s completely normal for excuses, BS stories, and fear to pop up. Don’t the fear or the BS stories keep you small and stuck, you can do this! Plus you will have the support of an awesome community (myself included) cheering you on through the whole process.
